Introduction to Amphipods Workshop
Join our NS Society !!!
This website is dedicated to increasing our knowledge of marine invertebrates (animals without backbones) found in the waters of the Scotian Shelf, Gulf of Maine, and Bay of Fundy. We hope to engage scientists, educators, resource users, environmental managers, naturalists, fishermen and the general public in learning, discovering and respecting the biodiversity of our oceans. Use the Database link to access information about marine invertebrate species, marine habitats, locations or references.
Please be aware that this is an ONGOING project. Approximately 1200 species have been entered to date. We would like to encourage people to become involved and contribute their own information to help populate MIDI's database. See the Instructions page for details.
